Helloooo Blogspot!

Hi there!

My name is Brittney, and I am just transitioning over from Wordpress to Blogspot - I was having some issues getting the compatibility and ease of html changes down on Wordpress, so I started venturing out to other blog sites.  I am loving how simple Blogspot is, and I'm definitely excited to see how this blog works out for me.

I live in Austin, TX with my amazing fiance, Nathan, and my 3 cats and 1 dog...in a two-bedroom apartment!  I love to bake, and hope to one day open up my own bakery.  I enjoy cooking meals for my soon-to-be-hubby and I, and love DIY crafts, organization skills, and playing with my pets.

I work at a local homeless shelter - pretty much, my job is to help over 230 men get showers, meals, and a roof over their head on weekend nights.  It can be stressful at times, but it is SO worth it not only for the difference I can make in their lives, but also the difference they can make in mine.

I am a Christian, and I love to talk about how amazing God is - he's my rock and my shield, and I give him thanks in everything I do and everything I will do in life.  You will probably see some scriptures and inspirational photos on here, and I hope they bring you as much happiness and joy as they bring to my life.
